Booking a co-starring role on a TV series or film is no easy task, even for well-trained actors. Co-Star Bootcamp is your key to mastering the art of landing those elusive, career-vital roles!

HERE'S WHAT THIS WORKSHOP WILL DO FOR YOU…

• Get practical hands-on experience: You will work on-camera in four different co-star roles, including medical dramas, crime procedurals, and more!

• The bar has been raised for actors in New Mexico. We are getting the opportunity to audition for bigger roles, BUT it's the co-star roles that are still most common for our market. Booking your first co-star role builds trust within the casting director community and sets you up for landing bigger recurring and guest star roles.

• Your instructor, Sam Quinn is an experienced director, producer, casting director, and, most importantly, a SAG actor with over a dozen co-star credits from major TV shows and films. Learn from his experience about what works and what doesn’t!

• Learn to use YOURSELF to create a believable audition.

• Understand the FUNCTION OF A CO-STAR role in the scene.

• Make strong CHARACTER CHOICES that enhance the story without overshadowing the leads.

• Tackle one-liners, under 5's, and recurring roles from various genres.

• Actors work on-camera (with playback) in four different co-star roles.

• Learn how to handle a scene that calls for physicality and action.

• Improv techniques to develop a powerful "moment before" that will thrust you into your scene with spontaneity and focus.

• Understand technical fundamentals of a self-tape & perfect camera sight-lines.

• Walk away with a Co-Star Audition Checklist to effectively tackle and analyze your own auditions.

By the end of the Co-Star Bootcamp students will have a stronger understanding of how co-star roles fit into the bigger picture of the story. They will know how to use audition techniques and self-tape fundamentals to submit STANDOUT SELF-TAPES. They will be adequately prepared and confident for their co-star auditions.
